▸Is souqss free to use?
Yes. Posting an ad and browsing are completely free. You only pay if you choose to boost a listing for more views, or upgrade to SouqSS Pro for unlimited listings and the Verified Merchant badge.
▸How do I get paid?
souqss does not process payments between buyers and sellers — you arrange payment directly. Most people meet in person and pay cash, mobile money, or bank transfer. Only payments for boosts and Pro plans go through Paystack on souqss.
▸What if I get scammed?
Always meet in a safe public place, inspect the item before paying, and never pay in advance (especially not for delivery). If someone scams or harasses you, tap Report on their ad or in the chat and our team will review it.
▸How do I post an ad?
Tap Post free ad, snap a photo, write a short description and price, choose a category and location, and publish. It takes about 60 seconds.
▸How many ads can I post for free?
Up to 5 active listings on the free plan. SouqSS Pro unlocks unlimited listings plus the Verified Merchant badge and priority placement.
▸What do boosts do?
A boost pushes your listing to the top of search results and adds a BOOSTED badge so more people see it. Boosts start at 500 views for about $2.50 (KES/SSP equivalent at checkout).
▸How do I contact a seller?
Open the ad and use Message seller for in-app chat, Call to dial their phone, or WhatsApp if they enabled it. Service providers also accept booking requests.
▸Can I edit or delete my ad?
Yes. Go to My listings, open the ad and tap Edit or Delete. Free ads auto-expire after 30 days — Pro listings stay active.
▸How do I delete my account?
Open your Profile, scroll to Delete account, confirm via the email link, and your account and listings are permanently removed.
▸Which cities does souqss cover?
All of South Sudan — Juba, Wau, Malakal, Yei, Aweil, Bor, Yambio, Rumbek, Bentiu and beyond. Filter by city on the home page.
